Located near the heart of Macedon, Woodland Commons is convenient to public transportation and neighborhood services such as shopping, restaurants, medical care and entertainment. The apartment units, averaging 715 square feet of living space, offer a wide range of amenities designed to enhance the resident’s quality of life. Energy efficient technology has been incorporated into its design, minimizing the use of our natural resources and decreasing waste. Residents can expect to benefit from lower utility costs and a healthier environment. Three of the units are specifically designed for the mobility impaired and four of the units are designed for hearing and visually impaired.
Scheduled to open in January of 2017, Woodland Commons is a newly constructed sixty unit mixed-use apartment complex designed for low income individuals at or below 60% of Area Median Income. Thirty units will be available to income eligible one and two person families with the remaining apartments designated for other individuals served by Lakeview Health Services. Monthly rent expense ranges between $550 - $600 and is based on income eligibility. Income limits range from $23,950-$32,880 depending on household size. A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required at lease signing and the applicant must meet the eligibility requirements of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
Eligible applications for initial rent-up must be received by 3:00 p.m., October 21, 2016 to be included in the random lottery drawing. Applications received after the 3:00 p.m. October 21, 2016 deadline will be placed on the wait list in the order in which they are received.
